The 1-54 Contemporary African Art fair continues to grow in international recognition as a robust showcase for the genre.
The venue for the next three editions of the fair have been announced.
London, Somerset House will host the next edition scheduled for 3-7 October 2018.
Following its wonderfully successful debut in Africa this year, the fair returns to Marrakech and the legendary La Mamounia Hotel from 21-24 February 2019.
The vitality and glamour of the African debut last year was the stuff that makes for life long memories.
In May 2019, the 1-54 will return to New York City.
Hopefully, Africa’s artists, galleries, curators and collectors will strive to participate in and utilize the tremendous opportunities provided by the 1-54 art fair to expand the market and reach of Contemporary African Art – which is of course a formidable capital asset.
