RANDOM LAGOS AUCTION RESULTS.

By Nii B. Andrews.

Last week (May 27), Arthouse Contemporary based in Lagos, held a CAA auction.

It included charity lots that had been generously donated to support the second edition of the Lagos Biennial, which will take place October 26-November 30, 2019.

The funds raised from those charity lots will directly support the Biennial’s five-week-long international exposition of art and culture.

It will be important for Ghana to participate robustly in the Lagos Biennial for obvious reasons. But will this happen?

We bring you below some of the Lagos auction results (hammer + premium) of the Ghanaian artists.

We anticipate that this will be of immense interest to seasoned collectors, those aspiring to start their own CAA collections, art professionals and others who follow CAA.
